TITLE I
We are a school-wide Title I Program School. As such, we receive supplemental funds that are used to support and enrich the core academic program provided to all of our scholars.
We participate in the BIC (Breakfast in the Classroom) Program. All students are served breakfast each morning from 7:50 a.m. until 8:15 a.m.
LACES CONNECTION
In 2011, Mid-City's Prescott School of Enriched Sciences was structured as the only feeder school to the Los Angeles Center for Enriched Sciences (LACES), a high performing and highly ranked combination middle and high school magnet located at 5931 W. 18th Street. Students culminating from Mid-City's Prescott in the 5th grade are automatically eligible to attend LACES in the 6th grade after applying and confirming an on-time application via echoices. Parents/Guardians must select LACES as their first, second, and third choice on the echoices application.
